Your in Paul, this curry uses cooking cider, I normally use cooking lager when I'm cooking leg of fish.

Ian your in and Ross the Boss plus small boss no problem.

I have two big pots with lids as seen here. The beans are for scale.

    PIc.jpg

If anyone has one similar in size to these it would save me lending one from the inlaws. The bigger one is for rice and the smaller for the goat. Both hold about 40 portions. I will need a third for rice and peas (Black eyed peas) just in case we have a few veggies on board. A couple of British Army No.12's or No.3's would save my Radius No.12. as I have just had the pot stand re zinked but I am not fussy. I will contact a few of the lads before Thursday who have offered ovens for the bread baking. Sorry lads I forgot about the veggies but rice and peas is a great meal with a bit of fresh hot bread.

Did I ever mention my french stove came with 2 nice pots, one just fits inside the other, the biggest one measuring 45cmx40x30? In inches this translates into 17.7x15.75x11.8 :D

OK, I'll get me coat!

    Regards,

    Wim

If it would have been closer to home, I would surely have come! It must be great fun and by the looks of it, great food too!
Sadly, there's to much water between us  . When ferry companies were still making big money out of "tax free" sales keeping crossing fares at a reasonable level I used to visit England rather frequently. I wish you all a great weekend at Newark, our weather forecast says the weather will be nice this weekend 8) !

Regards, and looking forward for photografic evidence O:) ,

    Wim

    Hi Den,

I'll be up for a taste as well. I'll have a No.2 panset, and No.12 amongst others with me if you still need the extra gear. If I've got room in the car I might even bring one of my No.2s. You could do a portion on that just for Ross....

Hi Graham your in mate and that No.12 sounds good, 25+ portions of curry with the pot can be quite heavy. I have only seen pictures of a No.2 but they look like the Daddy.

I have worked out I will need 3 large stoves big enough to hold the pots posted earlier in this post. 1 for the curry the second for the plain rice and third for the rice and peas. I will also need 2 ovens minimum for the fresh bread. I will PM the lads latter who have offered various stoves, ovens and pots. Thanks in advance.
